Saturday, May 13th, 10AM to 5PM

New Location!!!

Arlington Garden, 275 Arlington Drive, Pasadena  91105

Dear Art on Palm Enthusiasts,

Thank you for attending and supporting Art on Palm over the past thirteen years.  After many years of presenting our show on Palm Street in Altadena, we are excited to let you know that in 2017 we are venturing out and exploring other exciting locations for our event.

With great pleasure, we announce that our Spring 2017 show will take place in the beautiful and unique Arlington Garden in Pasadena.  While this location may be new, our name remains the same as will the number and unique mix of artisans we will host at the event.  Likewise, the Creative Arts Group of neighboring Sierra Madre will remain our primary non-profit benefactor.

If you have never attended one of our shows, we invite you to visit our Artists page in order to locate and contact any of our participating artists.  This extensive listing will give you a feel for what you can expect when you join us in May.

Please mark your calender, May 13th, for our exciting Spring show.

A Brief History

Art on Palm, a biannual art event, began in 2004 with 7 classmates, in the charming Altadena backyard garden of artist Mary Jane Elgin.

Conceived by and for artists, Art on Palm now accommodates more than 40 artists.  For 13 years, the show was presented in private Altadena gardens on Palm Street.  And now, though Art on Palm has grown and moved from its original home, it retains a commitment to present work that is refined, diverse and locally handcrafted, making it one of the finest boutique art events in the greater Los Angeles area.

Giving Back

It is also noteworthy, that since its humble beginnings, Art on Palm has never lost focus on one of its most important core values: the desire to give back and share its success with local not-for-profit organizations.

Arlington Garden

Art on Palm artists share a portion of their sales with the Creative Arts Group in neighboring Sierra Madre. Creative Arts Group (CAG) was founded in 1960 by six couples to provide quality art experiences and instruction.  This important mission includes ImaginArt, a program specially designed to challenge the creativity and inspire the imagination of elementary school age children from Sierra Madre Elementary School.  You can learn more about their ongoing programs by visiting www.creativeartsgroup.org or by visiting our Friends page.

In addition to the partnership with Creative Arts Group, the upcoming Spring 2017 show will be hosted by Arlington Garden in Pasadena.  The three acre grounds of Arlington Garden are unique in many ways as you will see when you visit the site on May 13th.  In addition to hosting the event, they will have staff on hand answering questions and selling their renowned Sweet Orange Marmalade, made from the Washington Naval Orange Tree grove on the property.  We encourage you to talk with their volunteer staff and take home a jar of their tasty bottled treat.  All proceeds from their Marmalade sales directly benefit the upkeep of this fabulous public venue.

The dedicated volunteers and staff from the Creative Arts Group are very involved with our shows, providing the refreshments and staffing our show entry table.  All refreshment proceeds benefit Creative Arts Group programs.
